Retention Pay Incentives

  • Newly hired EMTs and Advanced = $1,500 after first year
  • Newly hired Paramedics = $4,500 after first year

Annual Special Pay Incentives

  • Specialized units = $1500 per year
  • Higher education pays for EMTs and AEMTs only
    • Associate's degree = 2.5% of hourly
    • Bachelor’s degree = 5% of hourly
    • Graduate degree = 7.5% of hourly
  • Referral pay: $1000 upon hire and $1000 after one year with NOEMS
